SmartyCard provides children grades 2-through-6 with bite-sized learning activities in subjects such as reading, writing, math, social studies and science. Children earn points that can be redeemed for their favorite play time rewards - toys, DVDs, video games, books, Club Penguin™ and other virtual world subscriptions, and much more.

SmartyCard was created by a group of leading e-learning, casual gaming, and social media experts from companies like Leapfrog, Disney, McGraw-Hill, and Lucasfilm who believe that children ages 7 to 12 learn and retain more knowledge when they're motivated by rewards, engaged to succeed, and encouraged to have fun. The SmartyCard team is located in San Mateo, California.

Children earn points by successfully completing edcuational activities. Parents, unlock your child's earned points by purchasing a SmartyCard for your child's account and give your child access to hundreds of rewards!

There is no cost to register and try out SmartyCard. However, unfunded accounts have limited access to our large library of learning activities, and points earned with unfunded accounts cannot be redeemed for rewards. You can add points to a free account for as little as $10.

SmartyCard provides educational content at a good value to parents. There isn't anything like SmartyCard on the market right now, but supplementary educational programs like Kumon or Sylvan cost up to hundreds of dollars a month. While SmartyCard is not designed to be a replacement for educational programs, schools or tutors, SmartyCard is a great way to bring additional learning to your child and to supplement your child's education.

You do not need a credit card to create a SmartyCard account and start playing. However, unfunded accounts have limited access to our large library of learning activities and rewards cannot be redeemed until an account is funded. You do need a credit card to fund an account.

To create a Child Account on SmartyCard, we ask for a first name, username, password and grade level. Children are also asked to provide a parent e-mail address for verification purposes. We do not request any personal information from children.

To create a Parent Account on SmartyCard, we ask for an e-mail address, password, full name and shipping address (for rewards delivery). Your e-mail address will also serve as your username.

Yes. Parent Accounts can be linked to more than one Child Account. Click here to log in and associate your child's account.

SmartyCard accounts are normally funded in increments ranging between $10 and $50.

You can purchase a SmartyCard online with credit or debit cards. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover credit cards and Visa or MasterCard debit cards (the logo appears on the card).

You can safely enter your payment information via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information. SmartyCard uses industry-leading technology to keep your information safe.

All SmartyCard purchases are non-refundable.

Yes. SmartyCard follows industry standards and practices to protect and secure personal account information.

SmartyCard does not offer chat functionalities at this time.

No. We do not knowingly collect e-mail addresses from children. SmartyCard is in full compliance with the CAN-SPAM (Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing) Act that prevents unsolicited promotion of adult content or marketing materials to children under the age 14.

While Parent Account holders may receive SmartyCard newsletters and marketing materials, we never contact Child Account holders directly. Each marketing-related e-mail we deliver will include instructions for subscription removal. You can either opt-out through the link we provide or change your e-mail settings through your parent account. Click here to log in to your Parent Account.

SmartyCard offers child-friendly, parent-approved learning activities available from some of the world's most respected and popular education content providers, including Learning.com, LearnStar and Ignite Learning.

No. SmartyCard does not support the transfer of points to another account. If you are having any problems with points, please visit our Support Center.

You can update your credit card information through your Parent Account. Please log in to your Parent Account and then click on the My Account tab.

To change your password, please log in to your Parent Account and then click on the My Account tab.

You can reset your password or your child's password through this page. A temporary password will be e-mailed to you, which you can change once you log back in to your account. If you forgot your child's username or have other problems logging in please file a ticket through our Support Center.

As a parent, you may choose the appropriate grade level for your child. To change your child's grade level, please log in to your Parent Account and then click on the My Child's Account tab. If you do not have a Parent Account yet, please click here to register.

SmartyCard offers an ever-growing selection of child-friendly, parent-approved rewards, ranging from subscriptions and virtual currencies for popular virtual worlds to physical rewards including CDs, toys, video games, books, craft and science kits, DVDs and much more. View rewards

No. SmartyCard does not provide exchange or refunds for rewards.

Your child can earn rewards by completing educational activities and unlocking points. You must fund your child's account before they can unlock points. Take a tour

To recommend a reward, please send us a note through our Support Center.

If your child picks a virtual reward, a redemption code will be presented to them immediately. This code will also be e-mailed to the parent e-mail address associated with your child.

If your child picks a physical reward, the item(s) may be shipped by a third party. All questions about your order should be directed to customerservice@smartycard.com. Once your child clicks on the order now button, we will not be able to offer exchanges or refunds. Shipping times vary, but we expect most rewards to be delivered in 7 to 11 business days.

SmartyCard will place a text file called a "cookie" in the browser files of your computer. Cookies themselves do not contain any personally identifiable information. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

If you have cookies disabled in your browser, you will not be able to register as a member or log in at the site.

Yes. SmartyCard has an online reporting feature that allows registered parents to stay updated on their child's progress. To view these reports, please log in to your Parent Account and then click on the Reports tab.
